Henry Cejudo Welcomes Baby Daughter, America Maria Cejudo
Former UFC two-division champion Henry Cejudo announced that he is officially a father.
On Thursday night, “Triple C” took to Instagram and notified that his partner, Karolina, has given birth to their daughter, America. Cejudo said the baby was sound and healthy and was born on November 18.

“At 4:26am, God brought our beautiful America to this world. It’s a very surreal feeling and responsibly that we have as parents. To learn from the good of our upbringing and that of what we missed too. We promise to love, encourage, discipline and to have a relationship with you my baby America. Mommy and Daddy wants to welcome you to this beautiful world. America Maria Cejudo 11/18/2021,” Cejudo wrote on Instagram.
After knocking out Dominick Cruz at UFC 249 in May 2020, Cejudo called time on his career and decided to part ways from the sport. This decision shocked many as Cejudo was at the peak of his career.
But Cejudo seems complacent with his choice and will only return to the octagon for a bigger prize.
Cejudo became the first Olympic gold medalist to win UFC titles in two different divisions when he defeated Marlon Moraes at UFC 238 for the vacant bantamweight championship. “Triple C” had already won the flyweight title with a split decision victory over Demetrious Johnson at UFC 227.
Recently, Cejudo has been vocal about his return to the octagon as he wants to make history by challenging Alexander Volkanovski for the featherweight title and become the first three-weight champion in the UFC.
UFC president Dana White is also willing to make that fight and, with the arrival of his baby daughter, it may prove to be just another incentive for his comeback to the MMA scene.
