Here’s What Boxing Stars Are Up To On Thanksgiving Day
Boxing stars had a busy Thanksgiving Day.
A few big names spent time in the gym to prepare for their upcoming fights, while the others decided to spend the holiday with their families.
Otto Wallin enjoyed the holiday with his close ones whereas his heavyweight peer Kubrat Pulev was spotted at an event. Gervonta Davis, who has a fight scheduled in a month from now, distributed turkeys for free.
WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney spent the day in his gym.
In a Twitter post, he uploaded a picture from work and captioned it: “Thanksgiving work.”
Lightweight sensation Ryan Garcia and WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo were all about the family though.
‘King Ry’ posted a video on his Instagram where the fans saw him celebrating the day with his grandma. Charlo too uploaded a picture with his partner and kids.
Anthony Dirrell posted a photo of the scrumptious menu that he devoured on Thanksgiving.
With the celebrations over by now, both Davis and Jake Paul will be looking to get back to their routine. The Tank will take on Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz on December 5 with the 135 lbs belt on the line.
Meanwhile, the Problem Child is putting in the work for the toughest fight of his career. The YouTuber-cum-boxer will face Tommy Fury on December 18.
Tommy, the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is the first pro boxer that Jake will face.
