Here’s Why Israel Adesanya Is All Praise For Tyson Fury

Israel Adesanya has heaped praises on the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

The Last Stylebender is coming off a nail-biting fight with Robert Whittaker at UFC 271. Adesanya won the fight fair and square via decision to retain the UFC middleweight title.

Before his middleweight title showdown with Whittaker, the former kickboxer and current UFC star was seen admiring Fury, saying that he draws a lot of motivation from the great boxer.

He believes that Fury’s unbeaten run despite going through depression and weight issues has been phenomenal.

“I love his story. It’s phenomenal,” said Adesanya. “I can’t wait for the biopic to come out. He’s a phenomenal human being, not just a fighter. I admire what he’s done.”

After seeing the UFC star’s comments, Fury displayed the quote on his Twitter account.

“Respect, @stylebender,” The champion boxer showed a welcoming gesture by placing a handshake emoji after his message.

The Gypsy King is all set to compete with Dillian Whyte in his upcoming fight on April 23.

Fury has always openly talked about the rough patches and struggles of his life.

In a recent interview, he revealed: “I had everything – money, fame, glory, good looks. I had it all, everything a man would ever want but yet it didn’t mean anything, I wanted to die daily.”

“I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, mental health has to be the biggest enemy I’ve ever, ever, ever fought with, more than any opponent.”
