Max Holloway, Paddy Pimblett and Gable Steveson are facing disciplinary hearings after the Nevada State Athletic Commission withheld their UFC 329 fight purses over post-fight celebrations.
All three are scheduled to appear before the commission on Wednesday after allegedly scaling or exiting the Octagon following their victories in Las Vegas.
Holloway and Pimblett were shown leaving the cage after their first-round victories, while Stevesonâs incident was not clearly captured on the broadcast. The amount of money that could ultimately be withheld or issued as fines remains unclear.
The decision has drawn criticism from UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier, who called the rule âabsolutely absurdâ and argued fighters should be allowed to celebrate major victories with enthusiasm.
The commission will determine what punishment, if any; Holloway, Pimblett and Steveson receive at Wednesdayâs hearing.
