Holloway the Big Money Winner For UFC 206
No you do not have to guess what the fight of the night was, Dooho Choi and Cub Swanson took home FOTN bonuses. Each fighter received $50,000 for their epic fight Saturday night. Even Joe Rogan mentioned more than once during the post fight interview with Cub Swanson that the fight between them might have been the most exciting action packed brawl he has ever seen. The judges score cards didn’t represent just how close the fight looked. Two judges scored the bout 30-27 for Swanson.
Landon Vannata and Max Holloway took home performance of the night bonuses for their dominant and flashy performances. Both fighters were handsomely rewarded in Toronto for their efforts, $50,000 buys alot of Christmas presents. Vannata received his bonus for a spectacular spinning heel kick he starched John Makdessi with. Makdessi had never been knocked out cold in the octagon before then. Holloway is also $50,000 richer after a brutal beat down and 3rd round stoppage he put on former lightweight champ Anthony Pettis.
The Reebok Outfitter Athlete payouts totaled $187,500 for UFC 206 in Toronto. Max Holloway took home the largest payout with $30,000. Three fighters were just under Holloway’s payout with Cerrone, Brown and Swanson who all took home $20,000 a piece.
