Holly Holm Faces Mayra Bueno Silva As Miesha Tate Pulls Out
Holly Holm will now co-headline alongside Mayra Bueno Silva on June 15th, 2023, after Miesha Tate pulled out.
Reports indicate that Tate’s injury remains undisclosed, but it was enough to keep her out of action. Her replacement, Silva, is in good form.
She has three straight victories, as her last fight was a submission win over Lina Lansberg. This is the last thing that Holm’s needed, though, following her recent break from the sport.

She had called time on her career after losing to Ketlen Vieira in a split decision. Holms had, in fact, won consecutive fights against Raquel Pennington and Irene Aldana before her loss to Vieira.
However, her recent return was more fruitful. She got a unanimous-decision win against Yana Santos in her last fight.
And she could have the chance to compete for the bantamweight title and face Amanda Nunes again. And yet, the social media response wasn’t receptive to the last-minute change.
