Now that the virus situation has improved, Dana White and co are eager to host the fight week in Las Vegas.

UFC 266 will go down at T-mobile Arena on September 25 with Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski and Brian Ortega highlighting the main event. Both featherweights were chosen to coach as this year’s TUF as well.

The co-main event will feature Women’s Flyweight Queen Valentina Shevchenko locking horns again Lauren Murphy.

Fans are also hyped to see Nick Diaz and Robbie Lawler return for a welterweight bout as both MMA veterans have not been in the UFC octagons for a while. They last faced each other at UFC 47 in April 2004.

Nick is returning from a six-year layoff whereas Lawler last fought and lost to Neil Magny in August 2020. Lawler is on a four-fight losing streak, having last won a fight against Donald “Cowboy Cerrone” in July 2017.
