Hughie Fury Finds AJ “Vulnerable”

Hughie Fury thinks that he can take “vulnerable” Anthony Joshua in an April showdown at Wembley Stadium.

While Deontay Wilder and Dillian Whyte are the favorites to face  Joshua in a battle for a unified or undisputed title fight on April 13th, Fury looks to jump the line with a win over Kubrat Pulev on October 27th in Bulgaria in an IBF eliminator.

“My main concern is Pulev, but the Joshua fight is the fight I want. Against Povetkin he looked very vulnerable – especially early on – open to a lot of shots and he got hurt a bit.

“When I was watching Joshua against Povetkin I was rubbing my hands and looking forward to fighting him.

“I’d face him straight away. I’d take it in a heartbeat.

“That Wembley date would have my name written all over it.

Fury has been in a world title fight before, losing a controversial decision to then WBO world champion Joseph Parker in 2017. Pulev was slotted as Joshua’s opponent in 2017, but would be replaced by Carlos Takam due to injury.
