Hughie Fury Open To Joshua Fight

A Fury is looking to challenge Anthony Joshua for his world heavyweight championships, and its not Tyson.

After being slotted number five in the IBF rankings, Hughie Fury would “gladly take” an opportunity against Anthony Joshua.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Fury’s trainer and father Peter, claims that his son is looking at early September for his return to the ring, following his TKO win over Sam Sexton for the British heavyweight crown.

“He’s ready. If we could challenge for it tomorrow, we would,” said the elder Fury this week. “We’re just going to see who we can get, and get him back in the mandatory position as soon as possible.”

When asked about Hughie’s latest ranking, Peter Fury believes in his son if they’re given the opportunity. “We wholeheartedly believe in Hughie and we’re looking forward to getting there,” the trainer claimed.
“But that’s not quite going to be yet, so we have to look at the next fight, and take it from there.

“As soon as it comes available, if Hughie is fortunate enough to be in that position, we’ll gladly take it.”
