Iaquinta Headlines UFC 243 Injured List
Al Iaquinta did not have a great return to Australia on October 5th, as he not only suffered a unanimous decision loss, but the lightweight may be dealing with a six-month medical suspension.
The 180-day suspension was handed down by the Professional Boxing and Combat Sports Board of Victoria, who was the regulatory board for the Pay-Per-View from Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium.
To not sit out until April, Iaquinta must get X-rays on the tibia and fibula of his left legs, and being cleared by a doctor.
The popular Long Island, New York-based fighter was the only fighter to get a significant medical suspension, including Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker, who fought on the card’s main event.
