‘I’m here to stay’: Tim Tszyu KOs Steve Spark in third round

Tim Tszyu has clinched the 19th victory of his pro boxing career on Wednesday when he downed Steve Spark in Newcastle, Australia. The 26-year-old never let his opponent settle from the beginning of the fight. Spark, who entered the fight as an underdog after replacing Michael Zerafa on short notice, never seemed in control.

Tszyu got the better of him with a barrage of body shots in the third round as Spark was declared unable to continue as the referee decided that he has seen enough punishment for one night.
After handing Spark his career’s first loss, Tszyu said: “I had fun in there, that’s the main thing. For myself, I have one objective, take whoever out that’s in front of me. But this is my ring and this is my division. I’m here to stay.”

Spark looked in good shape in only the first round where he left his opponent with a puffy right cheek. But that seemed like the trigger point for the 26-year-old Australian who then kept Spark on the backfoot.
