Invicta FC 20 Weigh-In
All fighters competing on tomorrow night’s Invicta FC 20 weighed in earlier today. You can watch the ceremonial weigh-in video below.
The main event features Tonya Evinger defend the Invicta women’s bantamweight championship against Yana Kunitskaya. Evinger has won her last nine bouts, and she has successfully defended her title once — her most recent bout, a unanimous decision win over Colleen Schneider at Invicta FC 17 back in May. She won the title at Invicta FC 13 back in July 2015, and was scheduled to defend it three months later but her opponent, Pannie Kianzad, missed weight. Kunitskaya will be making her Invicta debut. She won her most recent bout back in September, which helped her bounce back from a loss in March that snapped a six-fight win streak.
The co-main event will see the Invicta strawweight title on the line, as champion Angela Hill takes on Kaline Medeiros. Hill has won all three of her Invicta bouts since coming to the promotion after her UFC release. She won the title in her most recent bout back in May, a split-decision win over Livia Renata Souza. Medeiros is riding a five-fight win streak, including a unanimous decision win over Manjit Kolekar at the last Invicta FC event.
The event will be aired live on UFC Fight Pass tomorrow night at 8 p.m. ET.
