On May 3rd, 2023, the upcoming Invicta FC 53 event will feature an entirely female broadcast team for the first time ever.
The main event will feature a championship bout in the atom-weight division, with Jillian DeCoursey and Rayanne dos Santos facing off for the title.
The broadcast team includes former title contender Megan Anderson, as well as Ali Trost Martin (commentator) and Julie Kedzie (analyst).

After retiring from fighting, Anderson gained quite a reputation for covering the PFL. She began her career with Invicta FC, where she became the featherweight champion after defeating Charmaine Tweet.

The news is significant for the sport, given the other developments that have emerged. Laura Sanko made history by becoming the UFC’s first female color commentator in the modern era at UFC Vegas 68 in 2016.
And with the main event on the horizon, the anticipation for the event has only grown, with fans expecting a new take on the sport.
And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media.
