Is Frank Bruno Eyeing A Boxing Comeback?
A former heavyweight champion is looking in excellent shape for someone who hasn’t competed since 1996.
58-year-old Frank Bruno has managed to turn heads with a recent photo of him punching a boxing bag. With the caption “Evening Workout”, Bruno appears to be doing the same thing Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield have been doing when it comes to showing off their physiques.

Tyson (50-6, 2 NC) announced his intentions to come back to the ring for the first time since 2005. Not long after, Evander Holyfield did the same thing, both for charity. Holifield has teased a trilogy bout with Tyson but also stated she would be willing to fight anyone around his age. He also discussed a potential Riddick Bowe bout, while Roy Jones Jr. has expressed interest in fighting him.
Meanwhile, Tyson has received offers from Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, and even active fighter Danny Williams. While Bruno didn’t directly say he would be coming back, he does have a history with Tyson. He lost to Tyson twice; once in 1989 for the WBA, WBC, IBF, and The Ring Heavyweight Titles and in 1996, losing the WBC Heavyweight Title. That ended up being his last professional fight.
Several boxing figures from the past have encouraged Bruno during his journey (whatever it may be), including Barry McGuigan and Michael Buffer.
