Is Manny Pacquiao vs. Ryan Garcia Real?
With the constant chatter surrounding a potential showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Ryan Garcia, fight fans have been wondering whether it’s the real deal or just fantasy.
Rumors have been swirling with claims that Pacquiao and Garcia will share the ring at some point in 2021. Garcia hasn’t been shy in expressing his desire to share the ring with “PacMan,” who is a future Hall of Famer. Garcia recently captured the interim WBC Lightweight Title and has a mandate to fight Devin Haney but “KingRy” is in search of huge money-making fights.
Garcia added fuel to the fire regarding talks to fight Pacquiao. He took to his Instagram account to imply that it’s a done deal.

“A dream turned reality. It’s an honor to share the ring with Manny Pacquiao. I will always respect what you did in and out the ring. Here’s to the best man winning.
“It would be impossible to get to everyone but I just want to say thank you for the support since the beginning when I was that Kid in the Garage in Victorville to now this. The journey continues, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Before you get too excited, here are a couple of things you should know. First, the fight has apparently not been finalized. The second caveat is that the matchup would be an exhibition, says Steve Kim, formerly of ESPN.
OK, Im told that in regards to Pacquiao-Ryan Garcia, nothing is finalized. The plan is for this bout to be an exhibition. Also, it would take place at THE ONE on Sunset Blvd…. #boxing
