Isi Fitikefu Signs With ONE Championship, Makes Debut Vs. Ruslan Emilbek Uulu
He debuts next week in Singapore.
Another former champion has signed with ONE Championship.
Isi Fitikefu, a former Eternal middleweight champion, will make his debut against Ruslan Emilbek Uulu in the promotion on November 19 (November 18 in the US). It will be on the lead card of ONE Fight Night 4: Abbasov vs. Lee at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
“To me, it didn’t matter who the opponent was. My goal was just get me to the fight, I’ll do the rest. Obviously he’s a tough dude and from what I’ve seen he looks like he’s a strong grappler with some decent striking,” Fitikiefu told Fight News Australia.
“But the gameplan doesn’t change from this person to another person, the mindset and game plan is always the same – just get me to the fight, let me put my hands on them and hit them. Then let the rest take care of itself.”
Fitikefu is undefeated in all six of his pro fights. He was most recently victorious against Kitt Campbell.
For Uulu, he is coming off of a submission win over Ben Wilhelm, which happened just weeks ago.
