Italian DJ Presses Charges Against Conor McGregor Following Assault Accusations

Italian DJ Francesco Facchinetti has pressed charges against former UFC double champ Conor McGregor for allegedly assaulting him during a party last weekend in Rome.

Facchinetti has claimed that he was left a broken nose, concussion and laceration to his lip when the Notorious punched him many times.

The 41-year-old musician said that he and his partner, Wilma Faissol, were partying with McGregor and his fiancée, Dee Devlin, at the St. Regis hotel before the UFC star invited the couple to another party the same night.

When Facchinetti tried leaving the party after a while, McGregor assaulted him in an unprovoked attack while the fighter’s entourage corralled him and held him against a wall.

A spokesperson from the St. Regis hotel has assured the police of complete support for the investigation. The hotel has already provided footage captured by the security cameras for the night the incident took place.

According to DJ’s partner, McGregor was standing close to Facchinetti when he suddenly punched him, forcing the musician to fall.

McGregor has yet to issue any statement regarding the allegations against him.

The UFC lightweight is currently recovering from a fractured tibia in his left leg. He sustained the injury in the UFC 264 main event where he lost to Dustin Poirier via doctor’s stoppage.
