Jack Is Excited To Hear “And New”
Badou Jack may not be in the main event on December 28th in Atlanta, but feels a main event moment coming in his battle for the light heavyweight championship.
“Tank was on my undercard last time. Now I’m on his undercard,” noted Jack on fight week for his fight with Jean Pascal. “I’m very proud of him. He’s already a superstar.”
With disputed losses coming in his last two fights, both against then light heavyweight champions Adonis Stevenson and Marcus Browne, Jack feels revitalized for his fight against Pascal, who defeated Browne earlier this year in Brooklyn.
“I was kind of flat, regardless of the cut that night,” Jack said of his fight with Browne, that saw the Swede suffer a nasty cut down the center of his forehead. “Saturday night, we will see. I feel good, I didn’t feel like this on that night.
“I’m feeling great. I’m 36 but feeling 26. I can’t wait until Saturday… and the NEW!”
