Jacobs Eyes Return And Potential Move Up
After a valiant effort against Canelo Alvarez on May 4th, former middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs is looking to make a return to the ring this fall.
First reported by ESPN’s Dan Rafael, Jacobs’ manager, Keith Connolly, met with promoter Eddie Hearn this past weekend in Dallas, to discuss a return this November.
Jacobs, who has only fought once this year, a unanimous decision loss to Alvarez at the T-Mobile Arena is said to be eyeing November 16th or November 23rd to return to action, with New York City or Long Island as the target destinations.
Per Connolly, Jacobs is eyeing a move up in weight but is “willing to float between middleweight and super middleweight depending on the better opportunity.”
