Jake Paul And Amanda Serrano Scheduled For Comeback On August 6
Jake Paul (5-0, 4 KOs) made an announcement on social media Friday that he and Amanda Serrano (40-2, 30 KOs) will be returning to the ring on August 6 in New York.
According to Paul’s Twitter account, the undefeated champion and one of the greatest female athletes in the sport will be headlining the Showtime Pay-Per-View event in August. Serrano is one of two clients under contract with Paul’s management and promotional company, Most Valuable Promotions. The company has yet to mention either of their opponents.
The American social media personality is coming into this fight on the back of a convincing win against former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.
The 25-year-old was scheduled to take on Tyson Fury’s younger brother, Tommy Fury, on December 18 in Florida. However, Fury backed out of the fight due to a broken rib and bacterial chest infection.
Showtime Pay-Per-View has said to equally distribute the events surrounding Paul and Woodley, who also lost to the American at a scheduled eight-rounder at Amalie Arena.
This Pay-Per-View will be working hard with Paul for the third time. There are a few speculations flying around about scheduling the 25-year-old’s fight with Fury next. On the other hand, Serrano will be returning to the ring for the first time after she was part of one of the greatest fights in boxing history against Katie Taylor.
