Jake Paul has called out Conor McGregor for a boxing match following their recent war of words.
This was in response to the UFC star writing off Paul’s chances in his upcoming fight with Nate Diaz on August 6th, 2023.
Paul will be looking to bounce back following his loss to Tommy Fury, the first-ever professional boxer he had encountered.
Prior to this, Paul had garnered a reputation for facing former MMA stars such as Anderson Silva and Ben Askren.
But when McGregor was asked to give his thoughts on Paul-Diaz, he did not see the ‘Youtube’ star coming out on top.
“I think Nate Diaz slaps the head off of him and I look forward to seeing it. I’ll probably be in the Lamborghini just off the coast of Sicily,” McGregor
Those comments did not sit very well with Paul, who let the Irishmen know that he was not going to tolerate his comments. And in response he put McGregor on notice.

“I’m a better boxer than you Conor and will do what you couldn’t and knock Nate out. After Nate let’s box as the co main event same night as Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano in Dublin.
“But since you’re not your own boss you will hide behind Dana [White] or just drink the rest of your life away. August 5th you will see,” Jake Paul
This is not the first time that Paul and McGregor have been linked to a fight. Reports had previously indicated that Paul had made a $50 million offer to fight McGregor, which did not materialize.
But this time around, could it happen?
