Jake Paul Dominates AnEsonGib, Eyes KSI Bout
When talking about the idea for YouTubers fighting, Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn was all for it. After all the entities involved brought in new fans. While they aren’t boxing’s elite, they know how to put on a show. That is exactly what Jake Paul did, as he beat AnEsonGib in the first round via TKO.
Inside the Meridian at Island Gardens in Miami, FL, the stage was set for a show of epic proportions. In an attempt to be taken seriously, Jake, the brother of Logan, looked in phenomenal shape. He used it towards his advantage, rushing into AnEsonGib right from the get-go. Right away, Paul landed a right that shook AnEsonGib. From there, it was all elementary.
Paul hit a counter left that dropped his rival down again, followed by a huge right to the face. A jab and one last right ended the night in less than three minutes into the first round for AnEsonGib, who provided little to no offense with his lack of boxing ability.

Following the fight, Jake thanked Shane Mosley for training him before calling out KSI. The man who beat Logan a few months back stepped inside the ring, and the two had to be separated by security and a number of boxing personnel. As scripted as it felt, it brings a new blood fight to the table, one that Eddie Hearn would love to promote to the moon.
