Jake Paul Drops Mike Perry Three Times In A Sixth-Round TKO Win

Jake Paul dropped Mike Perry three times before stopping him in the sixth round.

Paul started on the front foot, shooting to the body. He found his range early on, landing an overhand right to drop Perry in the first. Perry got up, but Paul followed up with numerous jabs to the body. Perry swung wildly, missing his shots, although he did connect with an overhand right. The 10-8 round was huge for Paul.

Perry’s defense was being exposed. The low guard and lack of head movement allowed Paul to land another right hand in the second, sending Perry to the canvas again. Perry beat the count, but he was unsteady on his legs. A cut was now visible near Perry’s eye as Jake’s jabs landed clean. Perry resorted to pushing Paul to the floor, earning him a warning from the referee.

Paul switched his tactics by targeting the body more in the fourth with his jab. Perry was slowing down. Paul landed two left hooks and followed up with further flurries at the end of the fourth. The referee had a look at Perry before the start of the fifth but allowed the fight to continue.

Blood was pouring down Perry’s face as the inevitable arrived. Paul went for the stoppage in the sixth. Paul landed a left hook and a right hand to drop Perry for the third time. Perry got up but almost fell to the canvas as the referee stopped the fight. Paul confirmed he would fight Mike Tyson in November and also called out UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira.

Conor McGregor responded to Perry’s loss, telling him he was fired from BKFC, as he told him to focus on his Dirty Boxing Championship promotion.

McGregor also hit out at Paul’s win.

“Jake Paul is the biggest p***bag I have ever seen in my life. 40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still s****ing himself in there. Nakisa you should take him to Vegas oh that’s right you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real fighting. B****h a**es. You could never. And then calling out 60year old Mike Tyson fresh off an in flight medical emergency? I swear to god, a fat can of b***h p***. Most valuable p***bag,” McGregor
