Jake Paul Has An Opponent For October

Jake Paul is still working on his boxing resume.

Things just haven’t been going according to plan recently.

Tommy Fury, the half-brother of Tyson Fury, was not allowed to enter the United States for the bout against the social media influencer turned pro fighter at the Madison Square Garden earlier this month. He was replaced with Hasim Rahman Jr., who claimed that he cannot make weight.

As a result, the entire August card had to be cancelled.

But he announced that things are starting to look up.

“Opponent inked. October is mine,” Paul tweeted.

“After all the difficulties in the past few months, it does seem that the 25-year-old is getting his career back on track. Even though he hasn’t announced his opponent for October, it is likely that the match will likely be a Showtime Pay Per View main event.

Moreover, his opponent would also be someone with reasonable credentials.

Paul hasn’t fought any established boxers so far in his career. Despite beating UFC great Tyron Woodley in his last fight, he hasn’t beaten any professional boxer who is currently competitive.
