Jake Paul Hits Back At Those Questioning His Next Opponent

Jake Paul has responded to the backlash he has been getting following the announcement of his fight with Andre August.

The duo are set to square off on December 15th, 2023, as Paul aims to continue the momentum that he received after beating Nate Diaz via a unanimous decision. The decision to face August was critical in that his opponent is a professional boxer. And after having lost to Tommy Fury, who was the first professional boxer that Paul had been in the ring with, it was vital to face tougher opposition. August has a record of 10-1 and recently returned to beat Brandon Martin in August after having been absent from the ring for four years. And yet, the decision to face August has been questioned, given that the fighter was not a big name. In response, Paul hit back at his critics.

“Shut the f**k up if you still hating. Boxer true and true. Better record than me. More wins by KO than me. Same weight,” Paul said

Ultimately, Paul is doing the right things by working his way up the ranks. If the Problem Child does desire to genuinely fight for a world title, then having these fights will only improve his skillset moving forward. And given that Paul can command big paydays, there will be no shortage of fighters who are lining up to face him.
