Jake Paul Unsure of $30 Million Offer To Fight Vitor Belfort
UFC veteran Vitor Belfort is eager to trade haymakers with Jake Paul, but there’s another man who wants them to box and he has been enticing Paul with a huge payday to make it happen as soon as possible.
After knocking out Evander Holyfield on Saturday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Belfort teased Paul with a $25 million offer. But Triller CEO Ryan Kavanaugh upped it to $30 million immediately.
“Twenty-five million dollars, the winner takes all! Jake Paul, stop running from me, man,” Belfort said. “I’m going to teach you a lesson. All your little fans will become Vitor fans. I come to knock people out. You bring it? I bring it harder. He has earned respect, but he’s still a Disney World kid.”
Paul said he’s skeptical about the offer.
“I honestly didn’t think that was coming,” Paul told Ariel Helwani. “It’s surprising because let’s be honest, we know they don’t have that money to put up.”
He has only shown interest in boxing former UFC champion Anderson Silva after the latter knocked out Tito Ortiz in the first round.
The Youtuber-turned-boxer is coming off a victory against MMA veteran Tyron Woodley. He has also been linked to a potential fight against Tommy Fury, the younger brother of Tyson Fury.
