Jake Paul Vs. Tommy Fury Date Changed, Won’t Clash With Mayweather-Chalmers Exhibition
This will be the third time that Paul-Fury tries to schedule a date.
The date for the bout between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury is reportedly changed by a single day. Now, this matchup will take place on February 26.
This bout is reportedly been agreed on for the third time following the last two meetings and will take place in Saudi Arabia.
Paul and Fury had agreed on this fight for the first time in December 2021. However, the British boxer abandoned the fight as he was unable to recover from an injury. Tyron Woodley was brought in as a replacement and got KOed consequently.
Initially, the deal was agreed between the pair that the fight will take place on February 25. However, boxing legend Floyd Mayweather had made his own announcement.
The former professional boxer will take on Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers in an exhibition fight on February 25 at the O2 Arena in London. To prevent a clash between these two events, the Paul-Fury bout is delayed by one day.
Speaking to the media, Tommy’s brother Tyson Fury shared a strong verdict about the upcoming fight.
”I hear an announcement is imminent. They are finally getting it on and are going to throw it down.
“The two YouTube people get to battle it out for the king of the YouTubers.
“It’s going to be fun, and I expect Tommy to chin him. If he doesn’t, he can stay in Saudi Arabia,” Fury said on talkSPORT.
