Jake Paul is eying a fight with none other than Conor McGregor after his fight with Nate Diaz on August 5th, 2023.
Paul makes his return to the ring following his defeat to Tommy Fury. Although a rematch was being discussed, Paul turned his attention to Diaz by vowing to stop him and then target a fight with McGregor.
“When I knock out Nate Diaz, I think that Conor McGregor’s going to see me, want a payday, and come and get knocked out. We can fight in the PFL smart cage, whatever it is. I told everybody I would fight Conor in any form of fight, because, in my opinion, he is that shot. I’ll do MMA, I’m not afraid,” Paul
Paul Slams Heavyweight Division
While Paul is targeting the biggest fights out there, the same cannot be said for the heavyweight division in boxing. The ‘Problem Child’ hit out at the top heavyweights for not fighting each other.
As of now, an undisputed fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk has not been made.
Meanwhile, an Anthony Joshua bout against Deontay Wilder, although close to being sealed, has not been officially confirmed. And that has not sat well with Paul.
“For me the heavyweight division’s in shambles. The heavyweight division right now is the only division that’s not stepping up to the plate and making the big fights happen.
“We’re not getting Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, we’re not getting Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk, we’re not getting Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder, we’re not getting Deontay Wilder vs Andy Ruiz.
“Like, what are these guys doing? Come on, let’s make the sport a better place,” Paul
