Following Logan Paul’s victory over Dillon Danis and Tommy Fury’s victory over KSI, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and DAZN announced that Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul (7 – 1, 4 KO) will return to the ring on December 15th. Paul bounced back against Nate Diaz in August of this year, where he won via unanimous decision, following the first loss of his professional career to Tommy Fury in February 2023.
The event and venue details have not been announced yet, though it is rumored that the fight will be showcased as a PPV offering. “Jake Paul is a superstar in and out of the ring and we are excited to once again have him fighting on DAZN,” said Joe Markowski, CEO of DAZN North America.
My destiny is to be a world champion and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get there. December 15th is the next step in that journey. Live on DAZN.@MostVpromotions pic.twitter.com/kGh8GmXlET

“8 fights in the boxing game and I’m already its biggest name,” Paul said in a statement. “I’ve proved that I can headline the biggest global events and defy the odds. PPV after PPV after PPV, and I’m just getting started. My mission is to be a world champion and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get there. December 15th is the next step on my journey, and I promise you’re not going to want to miss it.”
Last week, we reported that Nate Diaz expressed interest in participating in a rematch against Paul for New Year’s Eve. Beyond that, a matchup against KSI, even in spite of his loss to Tommy Fury, would make sense on paper given the YouTube connection. Of course, a rematch against Tommy Fury (10 – 0, 4 KO) also makes sense.
“The Tommy Fury rematch is right there,” Paul said. “Tommy’s going to want that payday. Payday, Tommy. But knowing where I’m going, my improvement, my new team that I have, my new mindset, and elevating every single day in the boxing gym, from what I saw in Tommy, I know in the rematch I’m going to beat that guy. I’m going to show y’all how to take a loss, come back, win against Nate Diaz, and win again when it’s time to put it all on the line. Respect to Tommy for remaining undefeated, 10-0. I’m excited to run that back as soon as we can.”
Given that only two months stand between now and the December 15, 2023 return date, an official announcement on Paul’s opponent should be expected soon.
