James Gallagher Out Of Bellator 187 Main Event

It seems that James Gallagher won’t be fighting in his home nation of Ireland next month after all.

According to Bellator officials, Gallagher has suffered a knee injury in training, forcing him out of the Bellator 187 main event against Jeremiah Labiano.

Due to the injury, the undefeated A.J. McKee a rival of Gallagher, will now fight Brian Moore, a teammate of Gallagher’s at SBG Ireland, in the main event of the Nov. 10 card at the 3Arena in Dublin.

Decky Dalton, McKee’s previously scheduled opponent on the card, will now fight Andre Goncalves, Moore’s original opponent. Labiano will be moved to Bellator 188 on Nov. 16 to fight Noad Lahat in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Gallagher’s knee will keep him on the shelf for six to eight weeks.
