Jan Blachowicz Still Wants To Fight Jon Jones

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz still wants a piece of Jon Jones. Jan first called out Jones after delivering a brutal knockout to Corey Anderson in February 2020.

The fight seemed likely, however, it never occurred as Jones decided to move up in weight. Instead, Blachowicz fought Dominick Reyes for the vacant light-heavyweight title later that year.

Jan Blachowicz defended his belt against middleweight king, Israel Adesanya, at UFC 259 in March 2021, but he would eventually lose the title to later that year to Glover Teixeira

Jones decided to poke fun at Blachowicz as a result of his loss. Blachowicz says that he is still open to a fight with Jones

“I don’t know, this is not a question for me. I’m always open for this fight, but he’s not. I will knock him out, first round,” Blachowicz said during a Q&A at UFC 275.

Blachowicz is currently fresh off a victory against Aleksander Rakic. He is also looking for another title fight against newly crowned champion Jiri Prochazka, calling it the biggest European battle of all time.
