In the wake of Terence Crawford’s victory over Canelo Alvarez to become undisputed at 168, IBF and WBO middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhnuly has called him out.
Janibek’s comments come after Crawford beat Canelo to become the first male three-weight undisputed champion, having achieved this at 140, 147 and 168. Crawford then vacated his WBA belt at 154, as the boxer may decide to defend his belts at 168. Alternatively, Crawford could move down to 160 and gain a belt in a sixth-weight class. While Crawford could box 42-year-old WBA champion Erislandy Lara, or the WBC champion Carlos Adames, Alimkhnuly is ready to face him.
If Crawford agreed to fight me, I would gladly face him. And our fight would be the kind of match every fan would watch with excitement, not wanting to miss a single second.
