Jared Anderson Vs. Oleksandr Teslenko, Nico Ali Walsh And Xander Zayas Added To Stacked Lomachenko-Commey Fight Card
The undercard of the Richard Commey-Vasiliy Lomachenko fight is stacking up.
The co-main event of the December 11 fight card will feature a 10-round bout between undefeated heavyweight Jared Anderson and Oleksandr Teslenko. Junior middleweight standout Xander Zayas and middleweight prospect Nico Ali Walsh, grandson of Muhammad Ali, will also return to the ring December after winning in their respective fights on the Jamel Herring versus Shakur Stevenson undercard.
“I’ve made my mark in Las Vegas over the last two years and now it’s time to steal the show in my Madison Square Garden debut on December 11,” Anderson said. “The Mecca of Boxing holds so much history, and I can’t wait to add my name to list of legends who’ve fought there.”
Anderson (10-0, 10 KOs) has been dubbed a highlight reel for knockouts. He scored three in this year including a second-round finish over the previously undefeated Vladimir Tereshkin on the undercard of Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder III.
Zayas (11-0, 8 KOs) made his latest win over Dan Karpency look effortless as he outboxed his opponent, forcing a corner stoppage after four rounds.
Ali Walsh (2-0, 2 KOs) remains in the lime light, especially after his third-round stoppage over James Westley II. Madison Square Garden is where his grandfather had the most legendary fights like versus Joe Frazier in 1971 and the rematch in 1974.
