Jared Cannonier Gets Past Sean Strickland By Split Decision
Cannonier bounces back from his loss to Israel Adesanya.
The latest event of the year was held at UFC Apex, where top middleweights headlined the event. Jared Cannonier and Sean Strickland delivered fireworks.
After a hard 5 rounder battle, Cannonier earned the split decision victory, but even Strickland was surprised by that judge. One of the judges scored 4 rounds for Strickland, while the rest of the judges thought Strickland only earned 1 round, and it was an interesting case after judging bouts are getting under the telescope of the UFC, after the latest PPV event, when Paddy Pimblett earned the UD victory against Jared Gordon.

In the co-main event. Arman Tsarukyan served first ever UFC defeat to Damir Ismagulov after the hard 3-rounder battle. It was mostly a wrestling match-up where the Armenian fighter dominated and won all three rounds.
Drew Dober and Bobby Green also held an amazing show. Bobby earned the first round by absolutely outstriking Dober but Drew once again proved he is a phenomenal athlete by surviving and serving a brutal KO to Bobby.
Garcia held a hell of a fight against Maheshtate. Rafa was cut early and was bleeding terribly. Still, as soon as the Chinese fighter landed that elbow, Garcia got stronger, earning spectacular takedowns, destroying him on the ground.
Said Nurmagomedov was another fighter who impressed people, but this time with an amazing comeback. Saidyokub was wrestling well and dominating against Nurmagomedov, which was unusual. However, after losing the first and second rounds, Said still found the key and finished the round via submission guillotine choke.
