Jaron Ennis Vs. Roiman Villa Weigh-In Results

Jaron Ennis (30-0, 27 KOs) and Roiman Villa both made weight a day before their IBF interim welterweight bout on July 8th, 2023. 

Both fighters arrive into the bout with a lot to play for. Ennis will be looking to re-establish his knockout streak after having failed to stop his last opponent Karen Chukhadzhian.

Although that may have been the case, the victory secured the IBF interim welterweight title, even if Ennis’ 19-fight-knockout streak ended.

Meanwhile, Villa arrives following a major win in his career. Victory over Rashidi Ellis upset the odds, given that the latter had been calling out ‘Boots.’

The winner has the chance to be the mandatory for Errol Spence Jr. or Terence Crawford in a fight where there is plenty up for grabs. 

And in preparation for that, all the fighters on the card made weight.
