Jason Moloney Vs. Leonardo Baez Results

Now that Top Rank is almost a month into its return to action, the promotion is looking to add more fights to its mid-week cards. There will be a total of six fights taking place on June 25 at 8 p.m. ET.

The main event inside the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas will be Jason Moloney v. Leonardo Baez.

Jason is a former WBA Oceania Super-Bantamweight Champion. He defended the belt five times before winning the WBA Oceania Bantamweight Title. Stepping up in competition, he lost to Emmanuel Rodriguez in the World Boxing Super Series bantamweight quarter-finals. “The Smooth One” would then recover by defending the WBA belt three times, his last win against Dixon Flores in November.

The 29-year-old will look to get the Moloney brothers on the right track, after his brother Andrew fought on Tuesday, June 23. He lost the WBA Super-Flyweight Title against Joshua Franco.

Baez (18-2) is on a six-fight win streak dating back to the end of 2018. The 24-year-old won four fights in 2019 before beating Moises Flores via unanimous decision this past February. Before fight night, Baez came in over the bantamweight limit.
