Jay Glazer Joins Bellator Broadcast Team

Following the announcement that “Big” John McCarthy would be their new color analyst, Bellator announced Tuesday, that sports television personality Jay Glazer, will join the Bellator broadcast team.

Much like McCarthy, Glazer will begin with Bellator 192, in Los Angeles. Glazer will host the broadcast desk as Bellator holds its first event of 2018 on the re-christened Paramount Network.

Glazer is the latest addition to the Bellator broadcast team following the release of longtime color analyst, and joins a team which boasts reporter Jenn Brown, play-by-play men Mike Goldberg and Mauro Ranallo, as well as color commentators, the aforementioned “Big” John McCarthy and Chael Sonnen. In addition to his broadcasting duties, Glazer will also appear in upcoming original content produced by Bellator’s digital team.

“Jay’s knowledge and experience in sports television speaks for itself and he will be a great addition to our incredible broadcast team. As Bellator moves to Paramount Network, I look forward to having him involved with some of the biggest fights of the year.”

Glazer more known for his work on Fox’s NFL programming, has been a member of the MMA world for several years, including a stint where he hosted episodes of Pride Fighting Championships on Fox Sports Network.

He also is the owner of the Fight sports focused gym, the Unbreakable Performance Center in West Hollywood, which touts clients including Demi Lovato, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Pratt, Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture.
