Jedrzejczyk Carries Olympic Torch

Former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk recently received an one of the highest honors in sports, when she represented her country by carrying the Olympic Torch.

Jedrzejczyk, a native of Olsztyn, Poland, was selected to carry the torch for a portion of the torch’s journey to Pyeongchang County, South Korea, for the 2018 Winter Games, which begin on February 9th.

The 14-1 former champ, who made five successful title defenses prior to losing to Rose Namajunas at UFC 217, carried the torch over the weekend, and shared the moment on her Instagram page.
