Jermall Charlo’s Return Confirmed

Jermall Charlo (34-0, 23 KOs) will return to the ring on July 25 after being added to the undercard of the Errol Spence Jr. (28-1, 22 KOs) vs. Tim Tszyu (27-3, 18 KOs) event in Australia, with no opponent yet announced.

The 36-year-old has fought just three times since 2020 and only once in the past three years, stopping Thomas Lamanna in six rounds in May 2025. While that victory was expected, it did little to clarify where Charlo stands among the division’s top names after such an extended spell on the sidelines. Despite holding an unbeaten record and world titles across two divisions (154 and 160), consistent activity has long eluded the former champion. His last two fights are at 168, as Charlo’s eventual aim will be to claim a belt in a third weight class.
