Jermell Charlo Denies The Impact Of Brian Castano’s Biceps Injury
Jermell Charlo (34-0-1, 18 KO) isn’t intimidated by the deficiencies within the physical shape of Brain Castano (17-2-0, 12 KO).
Even though Charlo is aware of Castano’s biceps injury, the American has said that his feet are firmly on the ground.
The 154-pound titlist has suggested that even though there is strong evidence of the injury, it is somewhat circumstantial. He thinks that Castano and his team are trying to play mind games with him.
Charlo was visibly angry in a recent interview regarding the postponement of the rematch against the Argentine.
The battle was set to commence on March 19 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. However just a few days before the match, there were rumors about Castano suffering from a biceps injury.
According to a news report, the fight is postponed for two further months, scheduled on May 14. The venue of the fight is yet to be decided.
On Instagram, Castano’s trainer has been regularly sharing videos of him training. The 32-year-old has stated that he will continue to train regularly but will do it with excessive care as he would try to refrain from using the right arm.
On the other hand, Charlo is suspicious that any kind of aggression will make the Argentine swing his arms, which will impact his biceps.
