Jermell Charlo: Jermall Will Fight David Benavidez Soon

Jermell Charlo has once again notified the boxing world that his twin sibling, Jermall, will face David Benavidez at 168 in the near future.

Two of boxing’s most talented have once again found themselves in the headlines as Jermell Charlo issues a warning to the middleweight prospect, Benavidez.

Jermell insists that Jermall (32-0, 22 KOs) and Benavidez (26-0, 23 KOs) are with the same promoters and the same management company, so it’s very possible that the two will be sharing the ring with each other soon.

“Ain’t no motherf— worried about nobody. He [Jermall] can get in there and fight the other motherf– that they’re talking about. The Benavidez kid. They’re going to fight,” said Jermell told ESNEWS.

“What are we going to do, avoid each other? We’re under the same management and the same promotional companies. Ain’t nobody going to avoid somebody? Do you know what I’m saying?

“Get you’re a– in there, God dammit. Taste that hot water. You can’t be afraid of that,” added Jermell.

Jermall has fought just once since 2020, but is pushing for a big-money fight with either Canelo or Benavidez.

“I’m not worried about Canelo. Canelo, Canelo, Canelo. I’ll let my brother handle that. That’s my brother’s business. Whenever my brother wants to step in there and fight him, whenever he can, he’s going to do it, I promise you,” Jermell added.
