Jerry Jones Wants Spence-Garcia In Dallas

Even though a fight between the two is far from official, a site deal has been struck between Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Championship and Dallas Cowboys/AT&T Stadium owner, Jerry Jones for a Errol Spence Jr and Mikey Garcia fight.

The deal, which was first reported by the Los Angeles Times, would happen on March 16th at “Jerry World” as Garcia moves up to middleweight to face off against the IBF titlist.

“The Cowboys’ side is done,” said an official connected to the talks but unable to speak publicly on the matter. “Now they just have to deliver the fight.”

Spence had his most recent fight at the Cowboys practice facility earlier this year in a dominant title defense against Carlos Ocampo, and now is almost set to go across to the big building to face the popular California native.

Garcia has publicly called for the fight against Spence, even giving up his IBF lightweight title due to a mandatory fight against Richard Commey, as to keep his schedule open for an early 2019 showdown against Spence.
