Jiří Procházka, the ex-UFC light heavyweight champion, is nearing his comeback after a shoulder injury.
He became the champion at UFC 275 after his submission win over Glover Teixeira. Although Procházka was set to have a rematch with Glover, it fell through due to the shoulder injury.
In response, Procházka had to vacate the belt due to surgery and the subsequent recovery. But now it appears that the UFC star could be ready to make a return.

“Shoulder is great. So I’m working on that everyday. Last month, we did amazing work. That’s why I’m so happy for that. Everything’s going smoothly. Everything’s going step by step to be back (at) the end of this summer.
“September. Something like that. Now is April. I think I need for a finish to rehab and making a great preparation, four more months I think… I wanna practice and practice, and I will see after one month,” Procházka
With that being said, Procházka is likely to get a chance to reclaim his position as the champion by facing Jamahal Hill, who took his title.
And by the looks of it, UFC fans are keen on seeing him return.
