Jiri Prochazka Willing To Fight Top-Five Contenders While Glover Teixeira Rests

The newly rising star of the UFC will get his shot.

Jiri Prochazka is likely the next title challenger for Glover Teixeira even though he earned only two victories inside the octagon.

“If there will be a long time to wait for the title chance, maybe I will take somebody around, from the top five,” Prochazka said. “But, everybody knows about me, and in the UFC they spoke about me and my title chance.”

He defeated former title challenger Volkan Oezdemir via brutal KO in the second round in his debut fight. He defeated another former title challenger Dominick Reyes with a brutal spinning elbow.

“So, I don’t wanna think about it more. I just wanna know, ‘Okay, you have a fight. Just be ready, be prepared,’” he added. “I just want to fight some logic(al) fight; what is good for me, and that’s all.”

Suppose at a title shot, the logical fight for him is fighting with Aleksandar Rakic who fought seven times in the UFC and suffered only one loss against Oezdemir.
