Joe Joyce, Joseph Parker, Amanda Serrano Hit The Pads Ahead Of Saturday Fight
Some of the boxing juggernauts including Joe Joyce and Joseph Parker put on a show before media prior to their fight on Saturday.
On Thursday, the three boxers had their workout sessions to prepare for their upcoming contests.
Both WBO heavyweights, Joyce and Parker, will meet inside the ring on Saturday, September 24, from the AO Arena in Manchester, England.
Joyce, who has been unbeaten in his career so far, dons the WBO International and WBC Silver heavyweight title. The 14-0 fighter is a former British, Commonwealth and European champion too.
On the other hand, Parker is far more experienced. With a record of 30 wins and only two losses, he will be a potent threat for Joyce.
The 30-year-old star has previously held the WBO world title which he won against Andy Ruiz Jr. in 2016 in their fight for the the vacant belt.
He then went on to defend it against Razvan Cojanu and Hughie Fury. It was Britain’s Anthony Joshua who beat him on points later in a unification bout.
Amanda Serrano (42-2-1, 30 KOs), and Sarah Mahfoud (11-0, 3 KOs) are also undergoing final touches for their super fight where Serrano, the seven-weight world champion, will attempt to unify her WBO and WBC featherweight championships against Mahfoud, who has had an undefeated career so far.
Queensberry Promotions’s Frank Warren will promote the fight in collaboration with Most Valuable Promotions.
