American commentator Joe Rogan has been a tremendous analyst of boxing throughout the years. However, he claims that the American boxer Deontay Wilder has the best knockout abilities in boxing history.
Rogan made this claim after the 36-year-old knocked out Robert Helenius in the first round last weekend. The “Bronze Bomber” was looking to get back amongst the ranks after suffering consecutive losses against Tyson Fury.
He couldn’t have returned to action in a better way, dismissing Helenius with a huge right hand moving backward that left his opponent in no man’s land.
“It’s f—ing amazing the power that ‘The Bronze Bomber’ can generate,” Rogan wrote on Instagram.
“He’s truly unlike anyone I’ve ever seen in the history of the heavyweight division. You can make no mistakes with this man.”

“There have been many incredible KO artists in the history of boxing,” he continued. “But for my money, he’s the most impressive. If you look at this punch, it wasn’t even with full leverage and his opponent instantly shuts off. It’s what the great Firas Zahabi calls ‘the touch of death.’”
Rogan has been a huge admirer of the former WBC heavyweight champion and invited him as a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience back in December 2018. This came a few days after an epic clash between Wilder and Fury.
In another JRE episode, the former television representative even argued that Wilder should have won via knockout.
