Joe Rogan Will Not be Commentating For UFC 266
One of the most anticipated UFC pay-per-views will take place on September 25, but fans won’t be hearing popular commentator Joe Rogan.
It is going to be the second pay-per-view event without Rogan. UFC replaced him with former UFC lightweight Paul Felder, who will be part of the commentary team with Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik. Reports say there was a scheduling conflict for Rogan who is booked for a hunting trip.
MMA fans will miss Rogan’s signature voice, but it opens the door for Felder to make his debut as commentator on a pay-per-view broadcast.
It might be hard to imagine Cormier, Anik and Rogan without each other since UFC fans are used to listening to their voices for a long time.
The headliner will be a featherweight title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Brian Ortega. Another title fight will be held between Valentina Shevchenko and Lauren Murphy.
Also, Diaz’s Army’s leader, Nick Diaz, is back to the octagon after a long break and will face his former rival and former welterweight champion, Robbie Lawler, in their rematch.
