Joe Schilling, Ben Adegbuyi Big Winners at GLORY 24
There was plenty of hype surrounding GLORY 24. It felt like a card that had everything a fight fan wanted. A tantalizing undercard battle between Dustin Jacoby and Wayne Barrett, a showstopping heavyweight contender tournament, and of course two headliners who fit the bill.
In the end it was Joe ‘Stitch ’em Up’ Schilling (6-2) who came out on top at Magness Arena. Schilling defeated Jason Wilnis (3-4) in the headliner after the Dutchman injured his foot.

Prior to the headliner, kickboxing fans were treated to some fantastic action through a four-man heavyweight contender tournament. Jahfarr Wilnis and Ben Adegbuyi won their respective semi-final matches to get to the finals but it was the Romanian Adegbuyi who came out on top – earning himself a shot at Rico Verhoeven and the heavyweight title at GLORY 26 AMSTERDAM in December.
In the night’s first tilt Dustin Jacoby scored a huge TKO over Wayne Barrett to get the night off to a flying start.
All in all it was another terrific event from GLORY, the world’s premier kickboxing league, which returns with GLORY 25 MILAN in November!
