Joe Schilling A Heavy Favorite Against Jason Wilnis
Joe ‘Stitch ’em Up’ Schilling is a heavy favorite (-275) to defeat Jason ‘Jaguar’ Wilnis (+187) at GLORY 24 in Denver, Colorado. Schilling (5-2) is one of FIGHT SPORTS’ best strikers and will also have the crowd on his side fighting in his home country.
Wilnis (3-3) on the other hand was subbed into this fight after original headliner and GLORY middleweight titlist Artem Levin had to withdraw from the card due to injury.
The winner of the headliner will have a strong argument for the next world title shot against Levin. Also on the show will be a dynamic heavyweight tournament featuring Benjamin Adegbuyi, Ben Edwards, Mladen Brestovac, and Jahfarr Wilnis. The latter is the older brother of Jason. The winner of the four man heavyweight tournament will go to Amsterdam for a shot against Rico Verhoeven for the heavyweight title at GLORY 26.
The first fight on the docket will be an all-American tilt between Wayne Barrett and Dustin Jacoby.
