John Gotti’s Grandson To Make MMA Debut

The grandson of one of New York City’s most notorious figures will make his debut in Mixed Martial Arts on October 27th in Rhode Island.

John Gotti III will appear on the undercard of CES 46 in Lincoln Falls, RI. Gotti  who is fighting at welterweight will stand across from  Johnny Adams.

The grandson of one of the most well known names in organized crime,  will debut will be on what would have been his grandfather’s 77th birthday.

In a release, Gotti who has fought in the amateur ranks for several years stated that…

“I chose my pro debut with CES because I know several of the fighters that have fought for them…”

“They said they were good guys to work with and that they put on a great show. So it was a natural fit when I heard they were promoting a show on Oct. 27. The significance of the date is that it would have been my late grandfather’s 77th birthday, and I wanted to honor him on that day.”

The bout will take place on the undercard of an event whose main card will be televised on AXS-TV. The main card will be headlined by a middleweight bout between longtime veteran John Howard and Roger Carroll.
